Chef Salad Ole
  • 1 head iceberg lettuce, washed and torn into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 head red leaf lettuce, washed and torn into bite sized pieces
  • 1 lb ground beef, browned with salt and pepper
  • 15-oz. can drained red kidney beans
  • 1 small can sliced black olives
  • 4 tomatoes, chopped
  • 4-oz grated Mexican blend cheese
  • 2 avocados
  • 1/2 cup nacho-flavored Doritos chips, crunched into small pieces
  • Salad Dressing Ole:
  • 1 cup salad oil (canola or vegetable)
  • 2/3 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • juice from one lemon
  • 2 tsp chili powder
Directions
Arrange salad in the order given. Mix all ingredients in a jar, shake and let stand overnight.
